VCIPLAN^® is an acronym for Variable Cost Index Flight Plan. 2D-VCIPLAN^® identifies the optimal speed and altitude profile for a pre-selected route.

VCIPLAN^® databases in the flight planning system are identical with the on-board PPAS^® databases to harmonize displayed data on PPAS^® and the flight plan.

2D-VCIPLAN^® has RTA (Required Time of Arrival) in order to meet arrival time constraints to a destination or waypoints with minimum burn.
